This is an actual conversation between me and my relative on account of Air Conditioner being switched off...
Me: Why did you switch off the Air Conditioner? You know we have to switch it on again in an hour,when we return right?
R: To save Energy!
Me: You know that if you switch it again,it's gonna take up more energy right?
R:What?
Me: Yea. It takes more units to switch on an AC. You'd rather keep it on and less energy will be conserved.
R: okay.
Next Day
Me: You switched it off again!!
R: Yeah man..Save Electricity. Save Money.
Me: But i just explained it to you yesterday that you won't be doing that!
R: I know...and I am fine having to pay a bit more money. But I can't handle the fact that an empty room is getting cold while we are away. Its like...I wanna feel like I am cheap and I am saving money. Even when I am not...
